Welcome to the Journey

Finding a college fit is a journey that begins in earnest with the start of high school. There is a lot of information to wade through along the way, and at times it can seem overwhelming as you try to decide the best educational path for yourself among the over 4,000 institutions of higher learning in the US. Preparing for your journey as early as possible will allow you to make better decisions at every turn you encounter, and should help you fully understand yourself and your goals as you continue towards your destination.

As an admission professional for over 7 years, I have a strong background in assisting students through this process so that they can find that fit for themselves on all sides. I have worked for a variety of types of institutions, and can also draw upon my own personal educational experience as a transfer student to answer questions related to that process as well.

With this blog I hope to delve into a variety of topics that you as a student will hopefully find helpful as you begin to sort through this process on your own.
